Welcome to St. John the Evangelist Parish and School. My name is Charlotte Kelly and I am the Principal of the school. St. John the Evangelist School was established in 1883 and has continued to evolve over the years. We currently have 240 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. Our students come from nine surrounding towns including Canton, Stoughton, Easton, Sharon, Randolph, Brockton, Norwood, Avon, and Raynham.

1000 CLUB

Support Your Local Catholic School
Did you know that St. John the Evangelist School in Canton educates students from parishes in surrounding communities including Stoughton, Sharon, Easton and Avon, in addition to the students it educates from two parishes in Canton? Did you know the parents of St. John's School each year raise over $100,000 to help offset the cost of educating its students and to keep its tuition rates at a lower level than most of the Catholic schools in our local region? We raise those funds through various fundraisers - one being The 1000 Club. For $10.00 per month or a pre-paid annual donation of $110.00 (includes 1 free month ), members of the 1000 Club purchase 1 of 1000 numbers that are entered into a drawing. Each month 17 prizes are drawn.
There is one monthly winner of $1000.00. Additional prizes are awarded in the amounts of $500, $100 and $50. Your odds of winning are better than the lottery! Help us keep Catholic School education alive and affordable in our local area. Consider purchasing a number. All proceeds go directly to the school.
